Our Pastor

Kim & Debbie Alexander
Pastor Kim J. Alexander Pastor Kim & Debbie Pastor Kim has been our pastor for 15 years. Before that he and his wife (Debbie) served with Village Missions for 12 years pastoring in churches in South Dakota, Idaho, and Washington. He is a graduate from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Theological Studies. He and Debbie have five children - three sons, and two daughters.

Debbie is highly motivated to reach today's youth. She is involved in building tomorrows leaders today. She also leads a ladies Bible study on Wednesday mornings. Debbie came to faith in Christ as a child, and has developed a very disciplined walk with the Lord. Her desire is to pass along her love for the Lord. This is seen in her contagious outgoing spirit.

Ministry Assistant/Secretary/Treasurer

Jeff & Carla Floyd
Carla Floyd served as our ministry assistant literally to the whole church. She is the happy cheerful voice at the other end of the telephone when you call the church office. She has been serving here at SLBC for the past 11 years. We are a very blessed body for her service. Carla and Jeff have four children, three sons and a daughter. They also serve in strengthening the marriages in our church.

Jeff is teaching the other Disciplines of a Godly Man study. Jeff loves life, and he enjoys guns. Jeff is a master teacher in Kungfu San Soo. He serves in many capacities around the church.

Deacons

T.K. & Joan Andrews
T.K. Andrews serves as a deacon at SLBC. He and his wife, Joan have celebrated 50 years of marriage. T.K. is a very gifted and talented individual who loves to serve the Lord and the Lord's people. He is a wonderful assistant to our pastor. They have three grown daughters. I might also tell you that T.K. loves to fish!

Shawn & Sarah Workman
Shawn Workman is another one of our deacons. His focus at SLBC is on strengthening marriages, and helping Chirstians put God first in the area of their personal finances. Shawn's life was radically changed by the 40 Days of Purpose. Shawn and Sarah have two sons, and one daughter: Christian, Caleb, and Shaina.
